The Scripture Garden
The Scripture Garden is a ministry of the Forest Hills Community of Christ. The garden, with over 20 bronze scripture plaques, various seating areas, and many varieties of flowers and shrubs, is a place of worship, reflection, and prayer. The garden is intended for use by the Community, and is available by reservation for weddings and other special occasions.

The Scripture Garden was dedicated in May 1998 in honor of Carolyn Darcy Blair, a Louisville physician and long-time member of the Forest Hills Community of Christ. Her parents, Dave and Joyce Blair, created the concept of the Scripture Garden to honor Darcy’s love of floral gardens and to further the congregation’s desire to offer a place where all people could encounter the presence of God and seek peace.
The Garden is handicapped-accessible and is open for visiting at any time. Arrangements for reserving the garden for special occasions can be made by calling the church office at (502) 267 – 5508.
